• The ability to perform physical requirements of the position (i.e. lift up to 50 lbs, reach shelving 7 feet tall with a stool if needed)

• Prior experience in a culinary and/or foodservice environment preferred but not necessary - we provide training!

• Prior experience leading others preferred (Team Leader role)

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

You'll learn how to take a business idea from conception and launch it with sales and customers. You'll focus on the following areas:

• Wholesale & e-commerce: we will give you the opportunity to lay the foundation for Powerhaus’ direct to consumer line of Plant Powered Protein Pizza Dough through online sales, retailers, and grocery. This project involves market research, business plan development and feasibility study.

• Business operations: you will think through strategy, throughput, kitchen operations, and distribution for Powerhaus to meet demand from an additional wholesale / e-commerce line of business

SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING INTERNSHIP

• Social media, branding, and photography: Powerhaus’ brand is at the heart of our value proposition and you’ll be given the opportunity to create content for our social media platforms and monthly email marketing campaigns

• Events & fundraisers: Reach out to influencers, wellness professionals, meet-up groups, and like-minded businesses to host events at or with Powerhaus. Host dine-outs or Buy-one-give-one fundraisers to support our local community

• Local business marketing: promote events and menu specials on social media, online, and physically dropping off fliers in the community, review and reputation management

• Influencer partnerships: Develop relationships with TikTok, local, and Instagram influencers to build brand awareness

Powerhaus internships are ideal for candidates with interest in the retail food business, restaurant management, hospitality, or marketing and social media. Our internship are for 10-15 hours a week. You’ll get a free pizza each shift!
